The kids really made some good friends in California. In the last year of our time there, Bryant (especially) made a lot of new friends in our ward. The last couple days we were in California we were lucky enough to get some good quality friend time in. Thanks to our awesome friends for meeting us the parks around town.
When we checked in to TLF we requested an extension to our reservation. We wanted to stay long enough for Jonas' first Court of Honor. He was awarded the rank of Scout and Tenderfoot.
So proud of the young man he is becoming!
It was our last evening there, so we let the kids play to their hearts' content. Saying goodbye to friends isn't ever easy. But I think its easier to be the one leaving than to be the one left behind. So many of our friends were moving from Travis this summer it must have been really hard to be one of the ones left behind.
These two joked that they looked like they could be brothers.
Then in the morning we were off. We said goodbye to Ethan and the kids and I hit the road to Utah where we would spend the next four weeks having adventures and family time.
