June 2021 (random, Utah)

It is so fun to go back and see these photos,,, even if I am blogging behind schedule, it still brings me a lot of joy.

Fisher is always asking me to take his picture.  He was pretty excited about taking a picture with this sword.

Ethan and I went back to the crepe place before our move!  I think the pictures of the treats are almost as good as the treats themselves.  I have this food setting on my phone camera that I love to use.  I have so many photos on google maps of food we've eaten all over the place.

The kids were unbelievably excited when I announced that we needed to get rid of all the popsicles so we could defrost the deep freezer.

Murphy was never quite fast enough to catch one of the bunnies running around our yard... but he remained ever vigilant whenever he saw one.

Riding to the school and back was one of Fisher's favorite things to do when they served free lunch.  He got really comfortable on his balance bike.

We made a trip to Utah!  The boys and I drove down while Ethan and Eliza stayed behind in ND so Eliza could go to Girl's Encampment.  They joined us as soon as she finished.  We stopped in Preston first, of course.  This is my kids' happy place, which makes me so happy.  I've had similar feelings for a long time.

Bryant was super excited to play basketball to his heart's content.

Grandma and Grandpa Hoss even let Fisher touch their little music spinners from German.  He was mesmerized.

I sure do love my dad.  He is one of my favorite people ever.  I don't have a picture of my Mom right now, but I adore her too.  I'm very blessed with such amazing parents. (I think I was playing with my portrait mode on my phone camera... or maybe Dad needed a photo for something... I should have blogged sooner!)

Down to Utah Paige and I were twinners, so of course, we had to snap a picture.

Jonas, Bryant, Levi and Lincoln walked down to Burly Burger from Grandma Jane's house.  Jonas got a chicken sandwich and he still regrets it.  It was hard to eat because the chicken kept trying to slip out of the bread.

One of our favorite past times.

Cruising Sam's Club with my parents makes for a fun past time as well! Fisher loves when we let him join us at the store.

My nephew Ethan and his cute wife were in a production of Big Fish at this amphitheater, so we bought tickets to go see them.  It was so much fun!

Ethan was the giant Carl.  He did great.

Jenny was in several different parts/scenes.  She sang and danced and was overall awesome.

I think Bryant took Fisher mid performance (at intermission) to... spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa.  Sitting through an entire play was too much for him.  Thankfully Bryant got back int time to see most of it.

Sunday dinner at Richy's.  These two peas in a pod make me smile.

Kari was so nice to let Fisher feed the chickens.

And water them, too.

So cute.  He was in heaven.

Yes, this is the same place where not even one year before Levi broke his arm and Eliza broke her finger... and yes... now they are jumping from the deck... and then they moved up to the roof!  They had so much fun.

All of my brothers joined me up at my parents' house to celebrate Father's Day on the Saturday before actual Father's Day.  We all went in on some yard games for his gift.  That way the kids have something fun to do when they go up to visit my parents in Preston.  Kubb and Cornhole/Ladder games.  Pretty fun!

The men/boys all went together to a Jazz game and got matching shirts.  Aren't they cute?

Lincoln was doing a backflip off this table and it didn't survive.

Good thing Fisher was there to help.

Hooray Ethan and Eliza made it to Utah!  Just in time for actual Father's Day!  Fisher was the second most excited of us to see them.

Boys are so weird.  This "game" is played by laying side by side and toss a ball into the air in an effort to have it land on one of the other boys'... well, you know.

Have I mentioned how much my boys love basketball?  They were in heaven playing so much in Richy's front yard.  Look at all those who joined them.

They played old guys vs. young guys and the old guys won.  Might not happen too much in the future.

We took a little hike up the Bonneville Shoreline trail.  Richy, Claire, and Eden joined us for our adventure.

It was pretty hot.

We got a little beyond this bridge before we had to turn around because the path was completely overgrown and ticks were rampant.

Water on a trail is always a hit.

Levi loves to hike.  I love his sense of adventure.  He's always leading the pack trying to urge us out to a trail...at least when we're in Utah and cousins can join us.

We rewarded the hot hikers with In-n-Out since Richy's kids hadn't ever been there before and my kids think its amazing.

I wish I remembered why he was so sad, but I got nothing... it was probably because he got water to drink.  That tends to be a common occurrence in our family.
