Easter!
Easter morning was a BLAST! First, we talked about Jesus and read a story from the Friend. Now, whenever Jonas sees a picture of Jesus he says, "Kill? Kill?" I'm not sure how to feel about that, of course we always respond, "Yes, and He was resurrected." Or something like that. Anyhow, after the spiritual stuff we let the kids find their baskets and the eggs we decorated. Then they got special treatment and were allowed to just go at it full force for about 20 minutes. They've never done that and they LOVED it!

...and we're back!
Well, once again it has been a LONG time since the last post. Unfortunately, Ethan is still rather busy with school, so the commentary is not going to be nearly as witty or clever. Hopefully, what I lack in humor, I will make up in photos. These are our March adventures and they are plentiful. Enjoy!
Silver Falls

For the whole time we've lived in Oregon we have been saying, "We need to get down to Silver Falls!" and one cold, wet 2007 spring break day we finally made it. They were definitely worth it! Talk about beautiful, how anyone can deny there is a gracious Father in Heaven who created this wonderful place, we call Earth, is beyond me, particularly when I see spectacular beauty like this. We saw 5 falls and didn't make it to them all, the kids did great walking the majority of the time. The highlight was being able to walk behind a couple of the falls. It was splendid! You should all come see us, just so we can take you there! ;o)
Bryant's Birthday
We had so much fun at McDonald's with Jonas that we had to do the same for Bryant, this time we invited friends. Just when we thought our happy 4 year old couldn't have had a better birthday, Grandma and Grandpa Hoss showed up. He just about jumped out of my arms when he saw them. What a surprise to all of us. It was a blast! Then Grandma Jane called to see if we had received a special birthday package and low and behold, while still on the phone a knock on the door by our friendly UPS delivery man. It was the birthday dreams are made of...we build a kite, got cool animal transformer cars, ate cake and got hugs from grandparents. What more could a kid ask for?

Welcome back Kotter!

Holy cow!
Talk about a huge lapse in time. We've just gone through a wormhole and emerged in the year 2006. I'm surprised the place still exists.
So I'm in my 3rd year of optometry school, trying to stay motivated.
I attended the GREAT Western Council of Optometry in Portland this past weekend and got a bit of a boost. I hung out with some old friends that are now docs out on their own, Dr Walker and Dr Ward. Real nice guys.
I have 3 sons now. They are all getting big and fast. It's hard to keep up with them. I need to start training just to stay ahead of the game.
